What is a Kajira and her Master?

A kajira is a Gorean slave girl. The kajira is the property of her Master to do with as He sees fit. Its the kajira's responsibility to please her Master and her only thought should be of His pleasure. A kajira has no rights, save what her Master gives her. There are no limits, as to how she is to please her Master, unless He allows it. In short, when you become kajira, you give up all rights you have been taught you have, and begin to live solely for the pleasures of your Master.

The Gorean Collar is a mark of great pleasure and honor to the kajira. It means that she has found the one to guide her through all things in life. It means she has found a person whom she can trust beyond all others, in a way she can trust no other. It is a bond that is stronger then even marriage. During the collaring, a woman is reborn into who she truly is in her heart. Its more then a band of ownership around the kajira's neck, its a symbol of a love and trust that go far beyond conventional understanding. To be owned is one of the greatest joys in a kajira's life.

Being a kajira is part of who you are and should be reflected in all your actions. In essence, a true kajira should be a treasure to her Master. She is property to be valued and adored as well as to be served and pleased by. Once you wear your Master’s collar, you are his heart, body and soul. So it is important that both Master and Kajira are sure of what they want before the collar clicks closed.

A true master values her as a priceless treasure and lets her know it from time to time, he is the type who will touch the kajira’s heart and soul, enduring her to him always. He needs to be strict, but fair… for she should serve him out of a desire to please him, not out of fear. If a master has truly touched a slave’s heart and soul, truly endeared her to him, she is filled with such love and devotion for her Master that the idea of displeasing him is to her hell, and worse than any punishment he could demand of her. Such a Master need not do more than tell her she has displeased him, that he is disappointed in her, and it is enough to tear her heart and reduce her to tears, begging to be forgiven and eager to prove herself worthy of his collar.
